From April 01, 2001, Japan “電氣產品控製法（DENTORI）” officially renamed“電氣用品安全法（DENAE）”, briefly named”Electrical Security Laws” and simultaneously use PSE mark (Product Safety of Electrical Appliance & Materials）, it will strengthen the punishment rules of importers.

Mainly divide compulsory certified diamond PSE, circle PSE and voluntary certified S-Mark. The electrical products in Japan could be divided specific electrical products (diamond PSE, total 116 items) and non-specific electrical products (circle PSE, total 339 items), PSE application must be authorized by Japan economical verified units (as JET, JQA…) issue the formal certification then proceed Japan procedure by Japanese agents.

*From July 01, 2012, LED lighting products in Japan will be formally involved in the circle PSE.

The VCCI certification is for IT equipment of electromagnetic control, and it belongs to EMC certification. VCCI certification is non-compulsory, briefly, it’s voluntary certification. Only the member in the VCCI lab could do this certification with authority, therefore, the reports must be issued by the lab with authorized VCCI certification. The manufacturers have to be the member of VCCI first then could use VCCI mark, and the members have to pay the entrance fee and the member fee per year. The customers could use VCCI mark after receiving the testing report and pay the entrance fee and member fee.

The compulsory products certification in China also known as CCC (China Compulsory Certification, briefly named 3C certification). It’s supervised by State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China （AQSIQ） and China National Certification and Accreditation Administration Committee（CNCA）according to the announcement by year 2001, Dec. 03《Mandatory product certification regulations》（The State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Order No. 5）executed by CNCA and carried out since year 2002, May 01. The applicable products have 132 types at present. The goods must be with CCC certification for the export, import and all the business ways in China.

The full name of PSB called Singapore Productivity and Standards Board, it’s the legal organization of the Ministry of Trade and Industry which is in charge of the relevant laws and regulations requests all the registered controlled products should printed PSB mark. One PSB certification could put only one model no,, variability model could not be accepted, i.e. XXXX, YYYY.

The KC certification included Safety + EMC standard, the safety standard is based on the IEC standard with a little bit difference. The EMI requests of Korean electrical products is the same as CISPR standard, and the requests of EMS the same as EN standard.

KMEPS is the energy mark in Korea, it must be applied by local agency in Korea. The label must be showed, it means the lowest consumption efficiency satisfactory. One KMEPS certification could put only one model no,, variability model could not be accepted, i.e. XXXX, YYYY.

Standards Authority in Cambodia (Institute of Standards of Cambodia, ISC) for export to the country's control products, starting in October 2004, the implementation of the so-called product certification system (Product Certification Scheme) mainly for compulsory and non-compulsory two major categories of standards . The control range of products, including chemicals, electronic appliances, and food. SIRIM is only the certification agency in Malaysia. Any factory or company can apply through SIRIM. In principle, these certifications are voluntary, but the government will ask for compulsory certification under many circumstances from the local government requests.

The full name of SII is “The standards lnstitution of lsrael”, it means Israel standard association. All exports to Israel must obtain SII certification including electronics and electrical products. Israel is the member of IEECEE-CB, so they can accept the CB report issued by the member s of the IECEE-CB.

Thai Industrial Standards Institute, briefly named TISI, which is the national standards organization under the Ministry of Industry. Thai government requests mandatory certification of 60 products in 10 industries including clothing industry, building materials, consumer goods, electrical applicances and accessories, PVC pipe, medical equipment, LPG gas containers, surface coating and wheels.

ISI mark is the high-quality symbol in India and its neighbors. Parts of India standards are consistent with ISO standards and IEC standard. Therefore, BIS use dual standards as IS/ISO and IS/IEC.

India Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Ministry of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is India's standards and certification services department.

As long as you export the products which belong to BIS mandatory scheme, the foreign manufacture or India importer should apply the import certification from BIS and the Customs give the permission to pass, according to the certification. For example, electric appliances, insulation and fire electrical materials, meters, multi-use batteries, X-ray equipment, etc...

According to Russia laws, these products can only be on the market with the national standard qualified certification(GOST certification with PCT mark) issued by Russian State Standards and Metrology Committee。The compulsory coverage includes, electrical products, foods, cosmetics, furniture, toys, etc.

Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) is the only standards that apply nationally in Indonesia. SNI formulated by the Technical Committee and determined by the Badan Standarisasi Nasional (BSN).
