Wireless Testing Certification Services

Since April 2000, the new wireless equipment and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment Directive 1999/5/EEC officially replaced communication terminal Directive 98/13/EC, besides electromagnetic compatibility and product safety requirements, wireless devices is more efficient of using wireless spectrum, in order to avoid the generation of harmful interference.

Regarding wireless remote control products and communication products, it must comply with R&TTE Directive (Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Directive)-1995/5/EC.

The European Commission’s Enterprise Directorate-General recommends using current classification of the product as the market benchmark. It’s under the regulation. If class 1-equipment hasn’t any notice it can enter the market of all EU member states. Class 2-equipment must pre-advise then enter the market. The intended sale of second class wireless product in the market of the new member states responsible for the manufacturer must inform the competent authorities of relevant frequency, it is the R&TTE Directive provisions filing (notification) program. If there’s no any objection within four weeks, then the product can enter the market. But if objection, the Enterprise Directorate-General will ask the same data for reviewing the product in order to ensure the problem can be resolved as soon as possible.
